Dr. Heyong Wang

Dr. Heyong Wang is a researcher with a diverse background encompassing physics, materials science, and optoelectronic devices. His current research primarily focuses on developing high-efficiency and stable optoelectronic devices using metal-halide perovskite thin films.

Heyong Wang completed his Bachelor of Science in Physics at Xinjiang University, China, in 2012, followed by a Master of Science in Materials Physics and Chemistry at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2016. Under the supervision of Prof. Feng Gao, he received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Linköping University, Sweden, in 2020, with a thesis titled "High-Quality Perovskite Films for Efficient and Stable Light-Emitting Diodes," underscored his dedication to advancing the field of optoelectronics.

Following the completion of his PhD, Dr. Wang continued his research journey at Linköping University, where he furthered his understanding of this research field. In 2022, he began a new chapter by joining Annamaria Petrozza's esteemed group at the Center for Nano Science and Technology (CNST) within the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). Dr. Wang was awarded a Marie-Curie grant under the Horizon 2020 EU research and innovation program while collaborating with CNST in 2023.

With a humble approach and a commitment to contributing meaningfully to the scientific community, Dr. Heyong Wang remains dedicated to advancing knowledge in the realm of optoelectronics.
